Entrepreneurship is second nature to Riannah, as both her parents and some of her older siblings are currently or have been business owners as well.

”My mom taught me to crochet when I was 6. I would make things for myself and my friends but I never thought about selling anything.  

One day last November, my mom posted a picture of me wearing a scarf and hat I made for myself and people started asking where we got them.

Since that day, my mom and I have filled over 150 orders.”

Handmade Hugz

Handmade Hugz was founded by Riannah and her mother Rosita Haynes.

Together, the dynamic duo create beautifully handcrafted accessories such as sweater caps, scarves, spring shade hats, bags, and more!

At the age of 15, Devon Thompson was in the 9th grade trying to still figure out what school meant to him. He was just below a .2 GPA. YES! A .2 GPA.

What he had figured out is that school wasn't for him , it boxed all his creativity. So not caring for school at all or even bothered about doing the work he still had love for technology and clothing. He wanted to start a clothing line , but he didn't have the resources.

So one day his friend saw a booth set up in the hallway , people were rushing the booths. So he decided to get in line and he did so he talked to Matthew Hampton owner of Elevate and Writer of Get Money book. He told him that he had a great idea and to contact him. So later they talked and then decided that devon was better in the Tech field. So he opened the company DigiGURUS Inc. up and got two contracts one with UAMS and one for a clothing line. After closing these two contracts Matt and devon’s mom came together and told Devon “If you don’t get your grades up you will not be able to do these things anymore.” So as soon as that was said Devon brought his GPA up to a 2.5 and still rising.

DigiGurus

DigiGURUS is a youth owned web development company with the goals of giving many kids jobs and teaching the world that technology is key to our future.

Ty’Arrah Walker born on March 10, 1995 in Little Rock, AR is a rising entrepreneur and definitely someone to be on the look out for. Ty’Arrah is the founder of Clique Inc., an online marketplace for talented designers who desire to inspire the dreamers and empower the weak in a very fashionable way.

Ty’Arrah was raised by a single parent; where she witnessed her mother assume the role of any position that she needed to be fulfilled. This taught Ty’Arrah at a very early age that gender roles do not exist, and a woman can do anything that was is deemed to be “a man’s job.”

From these experiences Ty’Arrah not only knows how to thrive in a male dominated industry, but this has also taught her to never accept mediocrity and to fulfill the things that are missing from society.

Clique

Ty’Arrah’s love for fashion and uniting people is what led to the birth of Clique Inc. Clique allows up and coming designers a platform to tap into different audiences. Clique’s expected launch date is April 26, 2015.

McGill brokers sales and receives a commission from the sales of these items, with the majority of profits going back to the creators.

Growing up in Little Rock, Adrianna Smith is one of ten children in her family. Eventually 8 of those children would be given up for adoption, leaving Smith and her younger sister.

"I was raised in Little Rock, and I grew up all around the city, but I feel like I need to gravitate towards bigger cities so I can expand my mission." she said. The direction of her movement and business development is inspiring for all ages. The encouragement and passion she has towards her accomplishments is very outstanding. "Anyone should follow their passion," she says.

"Everyone has their own personal legend, and the universe helps you when ever you decide to begin the process to achieve it. Never allow anyone else to determine you power, and always remember that life is what you make it. Life is too short to not be content."

My name is Christopher Talley and I am a current enrolled at the University of Central Arkansas studying Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I have always dreamt of creating new things or starting my own business.

I am a people person. I love people in general and care about their well beings. I feel giving back is vital in being successful.

Naturally I form lasting relationships with people by treating them with respect and being genuine. These relationships have gotten me much further than I would have made it without them.

Nuts 4 Knowledge is a social start-up that features gourmet roasted and seasoned pecans and nuts.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these snacks goes to a scholarship fund to help students with financial challenges attend college.
